Eyes Wide Shut

A 3 yr old is cute enough to be loved by all.....
but dumb enough to know it all.....
That love will go...with his milk teeth.....
By the time he will know what love is....

I see men and women...everywhere they are....
loved by all and loved by none......
sun will come and moon will so...
I will go and you will go....

I see them all.... planning far beyond..
knowing well...its all planned before..
Hopes are high in this momentary life.........
Its my life....yet nothing is mine........

Truth I know.....everybody knows the truth...
Destiny is there...with fate at the end..
still we go on...ignoring the end...
setting high aims...living in our little dreams...
knowing it all....and eyes wide shut...
